Why choose a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist?

A Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is a food and nutrition expert licensed to assess, diagnose, and treat nutritional problems. It is common to confuse an unlicensed nutritionist or health coach for an RD/RDN and important to remember that unlike an RD/RDN their educational background is different and may be limited to as little as 3 days-6 months of training. Registered Dietitian Nutritionists have met more extensive criteria.
